My name is Katey Carrier, and I am honored to be your child's camp director at Root & Bloom Arts Camp! As a past music teacher, worship leader, recording artist, hobby painter, voice coach, stage performer AND as someone who has been accused of living her daily life in a Disney musical, I am committed to providing your child with a constructive and positive experience as we learn & explore the arts together! I believe that every child has unique talents and abilities, and my goal is to help them harness those talents to achieve their full potential. I'm excited to work with your child and help them grow their musical skills in a supportive and nurturing environment. As a mental health advocate, change agent and Mom, it was important for this camp to show how the power of the arts can be our respite, calm, and retreat while will last a lifetime. It is an absolute honor to be able to create an atmosphere that encourages creativity and growth. I can't wait to spark inspiration and encourage your child to be confident in their authenticity.
